CAD4ALL visits the building centre.

The students of CAD4ALL career and design college recently visited The Building Centre as part of the lecture series of various wall systems available in the market. An informative morning curated by The Building Centres very own, Rene van Tonder, exposed our students to presentations from Brendan Lowen of Everite, Archie Galant of Magnastruct, Tyrone Oosteberg of Specilink of Takarwi and Werner Oelofse of Corobrik.
The subject of Technology as part of the first year Architectural Technology qualification, investigates different properties and functions of various materials and especially how one would apply this to the built environment. CAD4ALL strives to get the student functioning in the workplace from the first day of employment, by incorporating real life application such as materials, into real life projects that our students will complete.
Our students will incorporate these wall systems as part of their Labour Hub Project, which exposes our students to light industrial architecture.
CAD4ALL would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to The Building Centre and all the exhibitors mentioned above. Pictures below captured by Sunell and edited by Raymond, the information officers of The Building Centre.
