Junior Lecturer

Requires a minimum NQF Level 8 qualification in Architectural Technology or Architecture. The Junior Lecturer delivers foundational instruction in Architectural Technology, focusing on practical and theoretical aspects of the discipline. This role requires an NQF Level 8 qualification and involves curriculum development, lecturing, and mentoring students. The position is critical in fostering a robust academic foundation for learners and supporting their progression within the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures in Architectural Technology and/or Architecture.
- Develop and update course material aligned with curriculum standards.
- Provide academic support and mentorship to students, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations.
- Participate in curriculum development, quality assurance processes, and research initiatives.
- Engage with industry professionals to ensure programme relevance and promote Work-Integrated Learning opportunities.
- Contribute to the academic strategy and vision of CAD4ALL as a thought leader in architectural education.
