The Lecturer provides advanced teaching in Architectural Technology, requiring an NQF Level 9 qualification. This academic role encompasses curriculum development, research engagement, and the mentoring of students to achieve academic excellence. The Lecturer contributes to the institution’s strategic vision by aligning teaching practices with contemporary industry and educational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures in Architectural Technology and/or Architecture.
- Develop and update course material aligned with curriculum standards.
- Provide academic support and mentorship to students, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations.
- Participate in curriculum development, quality assurance processes, and research initiatives.
- Engage with industry professionals to ensure programme relevance and promote Work-Integrated Learning opportunities.
- Contribute to the academic strategy and vision of CAD4ALL as a thought leader in architectural education.
