CAD4ALL is relocating to a bigger campus!

After careful consideration and with our imminent new accreditations, CAD4ALL has opted to relocate our Tygervalley campus to adhere to the stringent standards to space that lends itself to the higher education excellence and moves to an impressive flagship location 100m from the existing branch. The relocation has been necessitated by certain higher education policy imperatives.

As a national business, migrating to university status with impending branches opening in Gauteng and Durban, CAD4ALL has elevated its calibre in continued innovation and embraced this growth over to the new accreditation bodies. We have identified that to facilitate the needs of our new accreditation we needed to look at an alternate venue suitable for our diverse student cohort and prospects. With spacious lecture rooms, plush pause areas with full generation capacity, and matching cutting-edge technology in our new home we will continue to become one of the leading design educational institutions in SA.

CAD4ALL has progressively grown over the past 15 years and is on the brink of making history and undergoing a major transformation.

The institute has had to implement major adjustments in various departments of the business tailored to the higher education program needs, site specifics, and systems. On the path to achieving this milestone accreditation, CAD4ALL had to welcome the following,

  1. A new academic director with extensive experience had to be appointed, ensuring our learners are achieving academically at the highest level.
  2. Complete overhaul with new learning materials needing to be developed into our LMS reinforcing materials is always updated within the LMS.
  3. Operationally, the educational reality within higher education scope placed a significance on academic excellence and the extensive experience of staff requirements within the ambit heeded a re-recruitment of academic staff.  This by far is the biggest responsibility for CAD4ALL to source, and recruit the best academics to maintain our highest calibre.
  4. Strategic governance puts the emphasis on campus relocations in Tygervalley and Claremont to openings in Rosebank, Gauteng, and Umhlanga, Durban in March 2024. The venue buildings’ imperatives are that they comply with higher education policies and provide firm academic grounding across the broader CHE curriculum.

Less than 100 metres away from the current campus in Tygervalley the new flagship location offers,

  1. Magnificent, elevated views
  2. Larger space
  3. Plush pause areas
  4. Complete floor occupation for more learner privacy and safety
  5. Increased ablution facilities
  6. No power interruptions as inverters will be installed in the new space.
  7. More light in the new building due to us occupying the whole floor.
  8. Installation of a library and PC resource centre
  9. In house cafeteria
  10. Recreational room
  11. STEM Computer Lab
  12. In-house printing facility

In reaction to the relocation of the Tygervalley campus in lieu of the impending new accreditation, CAD4ALL is forced to temporarily shift in-person classes to an online teaching and learning platform for approximately 4-5 weeks within the August /September period. This will ensure our final quarter of the year is conducted in our new space setting the new standards for 2024 academics

The transition for the institute to online will be seamless as CAD4ALL has mastered the online resource platform during the COVID-19 crisis.

As we begin the process of relocating, we would like to inform parents and the student cohort that there is no reason for concern as there will be minimal disruption to the academic schedule when moving over online temporarily interalia with the overall migration. This will not interfere in any way with academia as our newly appointed academic director and his team will cover this domain efficiently.

In context, CAD4ALL recognizes the importance of providing improved infrastructure as the key to its success in 2024.

CAD4ALL management has agreed to reintroduce in-person classes in term 4 with the intention of continuing the momentum-building phase.

All developments will be updated regularly to all our stakeholders via all CAD4ALL communication channels.
