CAD4ALL is steadfastly committed to fostering an accessible, inclusive and welcoming working and living environment for all individuals. Universal Access is defined as the design of products, environments, programmes, and services to be usable by all persons to the greatest extent possible. It means the removal of cultural, physical and social and other barriers that prevent people with disabilities from entering using of benefitting from the different systems of society that are available to other citizens thus prohibiting unfair discrimination on the grounds of disability.

Our institution recognizes that there is no one size fits all solution in creating equal accessibility and space for full participation of attendees at events and travelling tourists with disabilities to South Africa. South Africa is a rapidly growing tourism destination, thus on the evening of 2 March, in partnership with LIVE ABLE, CAD4ALL had the privilege of hosting a dynamic and informative event that introduced an opportunity for CPD validated education for Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers, Space planners etc within the AEC industry in creating national awareness and standards, eliminate barriers to access mainstream tourism and understanding the needs of individuals with disability when designing, operating and marketing tourism to South Africa.
These equitable opportunities and resources affirm to attract the possibility of creating a sustainable circular economy with universal access to tourism consumers whilst advocating human rights for vulnerable individuals.
